On the evening of December 5, Ms. Milena Padula – Spouse of the Italian Consul in Vietnam, President of the Consular Club held an intimate party to thank the great contributions of all the accompanying units, the sponsors have sponsored charity programs this year of The Consular Club.
Participating in this party, besides Ms. Milena Padula, there was also the presence of many Consul Generals and wives of countries such as India, Singapore, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. Besides, there were many sponsors have accompanied and supported the charity programs of the Consular Club such as Columbia Sportswear, De Heus, and Caravelle Saigon…
The Consular Club is a charity organization, an association of Consul General’s wives in Ho Chi Minh City, established in 1994. During the past 30 years, with the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities in the South of Vietnam, especially focusing on supporting orphans, disabled people, the elderly, and ethnic minorities, the club has had many meaningful activities.
With a fund of more than 70,000 USD at the 26th bazaar, the Club has supported 12 different projects in the fields of education, health, and clean water. Particularly in 2022, the Consular Club also has many meaningful activities.
Recently, on November 12, 2022, at Caravelle Saigon Hotel, the Club held the 27th Annual International Charity Bazaar. More than 30 booths attended this event from the Consulate General of countries such as Indonesia, Italy, India, Singapore… and attracted thousands of people to attend.
When come here, guests had the opportunity to visit, shop as well as enjoy the unique cultural features from all over the world through food, products, and even cultural and artistic performances. In addition to the “cultural party”, the 27th Annual International Charity Bazaar also spreads a very humane message about humanity and the spirit of “The leaves protect tattered ones”. It is known that all revenue will be organized by the Club to perform charity work and share with difficult and unlucky circumstances.
The party of gratitude to the sponsors and units accompanying the above-mentioned Consular Club took place successfully. Hopefully, this will be an important bridge to strongly spread the meaningful message of volunteering.
